- Description Vintage American white tin tile on a wood frame. This tile has a repeated floral and checked pattern. Ready to hang on your wall either as a piece decorative wall art, or group together to make a feature piece. This is made from a reclaimed tin tile, so some of the paint has chipped away to reveal another colour paint underneath or the bare metal. One tile has a strip of bare metal on one side. There is a small hole from previous use in both tiles, some discolouration and a bit of rust on the back of the tiles. The price shown is for one tile. Each tile is unique because we use vintage tin ceiling tiles which have been gently reclaimed from the ceilings of old houses in America. They can be given a lacquer spray before putting in place, this will seal the remaining paint, prevent further rust spots appearing and enable them to be wiped clean. Please remember when buying vintage items, they will have signs of use but that is also what makes them so unique. We do our best to photograph and explain the condition of the item as best we can.
