Description 1957 Tonka Pressed Steel “Big Mike” Hydraulic Dump Truck A 1957 Tonka Pressed Steel “Big Mike” Hydraulic Dump Truck highly prized by Tonka collectors. The truck is in original condition and shows light play wear. Both hydraulic pistons are freely working. The original Big Mike is a 1957 offering depicting the Ford style cab. Later versions of Big Mike are the square fender 1958 and the 1959 Landrover which has wide, solid plastic wheels. The truck originally sold as a standalone toy and as part of the 1957 Road Builder Set. This toy is also available occasionally on eBay as a reproduction toy by Don DeSalle.
